New Friend

The dog on the right is Tessa, who evidently has a death wish. In Idaho, I open the back of the car, ready to pack up for the return to Seattle, and Tessa jumps in with Spackle to make herself comfortable. The thing is, however, that she was banished from Seattle for biting a toddler. It was leave, or be put down. Fortunately for Tessa, Uncle King and Aunt Alice were willing to spare her the gallows, and she seems to have adjusted well to the country life. And now Spackle has a friend who stays at home with him when Hoover and Sadie and I go on long rides.

Saturday morning playing

Dog Blog

Today was an excellent day where I got to spend the whole day not just with Calin, but with our two fine dogs. This morning they seemed to be particularly happy in each others' company so I documented their playing in the very brief video I'll post in a minute. Rather than just email a link to YouTube, it occurred to me that these pups deserve their own blog so that those who care can come check in on their antics from time to time without me having to send repeated "look how cute my dogs are" emails.
