What Hoover mostly ripped apart were the beloved, hand-made beds Ian had sewn from discontinued Polartec fleece patterns . . . and which Ian painstakingly pieced together and restitched. It was Spackle who chewed the back out of a pair of my slippers, and, much worse, a pair of Ian's Zimbabwean shoes (not the elephant ones).
Ah, so sweet. What the picture is surely not showing is the trail of destroyed shoes, rugs and blankets in the background?
